Spaniel Date: Chipping Campden

Last week I had a wonderful long Weekend, and to celebrate, on the Friday I hopped in the car with the Spaniels and headed over to the Cotswold to meet Emma and Alfie.
We decided Chipping Campden would be the perfect place to visit with the pooches, and it certainly didn't let us down. The perfect mix of prettiness and dog friendly places to stop at in between.
It was also the perfect chance for Sev and Lily to wear their gorgeous bow ties from Feathers & Tails, from the new Summer collection

Coffee and cake was the first port of call, before wandering around the quint little village and pretty streets and lovely houses ♥ Campden Coffee Company seemed like the sweetest place to start, the cake was instagram-worthy and the dogs certainly felt at home there too.
We walked up and down the main highstreet, finding places to stop and snap while we went and even found the most perfect fields for the dogs to let off some steam. If Severus has been walked and fed, he's just about ready to settle down....but it still takes a while.

Soon we came across a little independent pet shop, and both got rather excited as it was so gorgeous. The dogs got fussed and treated, and Emma & I were in heaven looking around at all the doggy goodies that could be bought. Sadly Sev an Lily didn't come out with anything, but I've been lusting on the website ever since.

Time to stop for a drink [Wine for me please!] and we found the loveliest courtyard at the Noel Arms Hotel. It was perfect for the dogs, looked rather swanky and had a bar as well as fresh pastries (that we just had to try out) it really was a lovely way to spend the afternoon with the sun shining down and puppies to cuddle.
Thanks to Emma and Alfie for a wonderful doggy day date, we can't wait to do it again soon
