Wiltshire is a county of many different things, from bigger towns to sweet countryside and even includes some gorgeous Cotswold villages too. Although travelling with Sev and Lily is what we love, exploring what is close is a great way to appreciate it more.
Sharing this Dog Friendly Guide to Wiltshire has also made us remember and think about the places we love to visit with Sev and Lily, from a day trip to a weekend visit, these places are a must visit with a dog.
Dog Friendly Guide to Wiltshire
Doghouse Pet Shop
This pet shop is the dream, not only a pet shop but a dog groomers and cafe too. Serving drinks and treats for both human and hound, as well as the wide range of natural treats, toys, beds and food available in the shop.
Sev and Lily adore the puppacino and always get spoilt when visiting.
Doggy Afternoon Tea
The afternoon tea served at Widbrook Grange is such a luxury for both human and hound, the doggy afternoon tea is such a fun thing to experience and had to be in the Dog Friendly Guide to Wiltshire.
The dog version of the afternoon tea involves a wet food, treats, ice cream and a a whipped cream dessert.
Castle Combe
This beautiful Cotswold village is the perfect place for a morning stroll, stopping for tea and cake, of course. The village leads down to a lovely stream and further on a great dog walk, the village itself is full of beauty and history, making for a lovely little dog walk and day out.
Whatley Manor
A dog friendly guide to Wiltshire needs to include a gorgeous luxury hotel to stay in, and Whatley Manor is just that. Set in the gorgeous countryside with wellies available for walks, beds and treats welcoming your pooch and an array of wonderful cocktails. This stunning hotel is great for a Wiltshire petaway where your dog will be as spoilt as you.

Ilford Manor
A new place that was visited this Summer, and although dogs are to be on lead, the gardens beauty makes up for it. Perfect before heading to doggy afternoon tea or visiting Doghouse pet shop, the gardens is full of flowers and picture perfect areas. It was ever so peaceful and the flowers were blooming, Autumn would be so pretty with the leaves changing too.
