Foxton Locks Lodges are luxurious dog friendly lodges in the heart of Leicestershire, somewhere new to explore and a stunning place to stay.
With a mixture of lodges available, all showing personal decorations and features, but all boast a hot tub and gorgeous details.
When staying at Foxton Locks Lodges with dogs, it still felt every bit the luxury trip, and never compromised with being dog friendly. Knowing the places that are available are beautiful, whilst never leaving Sev & Lily behind.
The week was all for being chilled out and relaxed, enjoying staying in the lodge, as well as exploring with new dog walks in the many country walks and green spaces close by.
Emily, Arnie, Collin & Daisy joined us the few days away, with much wine and hot tub [for the humans] and sniffs and play time [for the hounds]
Reasons to stay at Foxton Locks Lodges with Dogs
- Escape from everyday life
Do a big food shop, switch off the phone and enjoy the company you're with. Morning walks, fresh air whilst soaking in the hot tub and good food. It's okay to say goodbye to everyday life once and a while, we all need to escape.
-Peaceful
For me there's nothing like the peace of nothingness. Looking out the window to see rolling hills, green grass and fields, with the dogs running free. It's great for the mind and soul
-Cosy in the Winter
There's something about heading away in Autumn & Winter with the dogs, I just love it. Put the fire on, fill up the glass of wine, cuddle up with a tired pooch and blanket and enjoy the colder weather and leaves changing
-Luxury that allows dogs
Yet again showing that being dog friendly doesn't mean compromising gorgeous and luxurious places to stay
Where to Walk
Such a gorgeous area for open green space, woodland and country parks. There were many recommendations about where to walk the pack around Foxton Locks Lodges.
East Carlton Country Park is a short drive and close to Market Harborough, with much open space to run around and be free. Daventry Country Park is another gorgeous dog walking area, with great forest walks.
Other places to explore when visiting- Melton Country Park, Market Bosworth Country Park, Watermead Country Park and Bradgate Park.
