How To Have The Best Christmas With Your Dog

Christmas time is here, the tree's are going up, the presents are being bought and the dogs have started wearing Christmas Jumpers.
Loving the festive season means sharing that with friends, family and loved ones... even those with four paws so here's my ideas of how to have the best Christmas with your dog.

Pick The Perfect Christmas Tree
Many garden centres and Christmas tree farms welcome dogs, never leaving the dog behind! This means no one gets left out and both human and hounds get to have a say [or a bark!] on what tree to go for. Getting everybody into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Dinner Time
Sev & Lily eat Butternut Box and love it. None of the nasties, with great ingredients and menu to drool over. For Christmas the dogs have a Christmas Dinner meal, another great way to have the best Christmas with your dog. Lots of food and treats can be dangerous for dogs over the festive season, so it's great to find a dog food option that's still festive.

Treat Your Pet
Not only does the pet in your life deserve Christmas Dinner, but presents too! There's so many gorgeous gift ideas for dogs, and even advent calender's too.
This year, Petplan are giving away so many gorgeous treats and prizes in their online Advent Calendar. Pet prizes are available to win everyday on the run up to Christmas.

Christmas Shopping
There's so many gorgeous independent pet shops now, shopping small online and in store for presents for human and hounds. Visiting one of our favourites, Doghouse in Wiltshire, is the perfect way to have the best Christmas with your dog. Shop for stunning pet treats and presents before stopping in the sweet dog friendly cafe- for a puppacino, of course!

On The Day
The day itself can be rather overwhelming for your dog, with people coming and going, presents being open and lots of noise. Be sure to keep the furry ones occupied and don't let them get bored, always remember and keep an eye.
We've just stocked up on some natural treats and chews from Devil Dood Direct, these are great to keep dogs occupied through the festive season.
