Cornwall is always a good idea!
Dog Friendly Cornwall Getaway
Landal GreenParks helped with the most perfect place to stay, the Eco-Lodge, with hot tub, wood burner, beautiful decking area and can sleep 2-6 people.
With a small walk down to Portreath beach on the North Coast of Cornwall, Landal Gwel an Mor, really is a gorgeous place to stay for both human & hound.
Although the lodge has a very contemporary and eco design, it still feels very cosy and homely too. Great for both longer stays or a Weekend away, with gorgeous facilities on site as well as in walking distance to the beach, amazing kitchen, living room and bedrooms as well the dreamy hot tub. Feeling extra special and luxurious whilst still being able to holiday with the dogs.
The park has a lovely walk down to the town and to the beach, through a gorgeous woodland. Portreath is a sweet little town, with cafe's and chip shops, with the lovely little dog friendly beach that only has restrictions through July & August.
For me, a dog friendly Cornwall getaway means feeling cosy and comfy, being able to walk and head to the beach and usually visit some favourite pet shops too.
The dogs were welcomed with beds for the trip, as well as dog treats and poo bags, which is so lovely. Remember to bring food, bowls and towels [if you've got dogs that get as muddy and soggy as mine!]
The park itself offer different types of accommodation for different budgets and sizes, as well as onsite restaurant, that also do takeaway- which was great whilst wanting to keep snuggled with the dogs in front of the fire.
As well as this there is a spa and a gym, as well as your own personal hot tub with some accommodation. The direct access to the beach was also perfect, as well as many other public walks going through and from the park, as well as a gorgeous woodland country park close by too.
Landal GreenParks also have parks over the UK as well as in Europe too, with a range of different locations and accommodations, allowing dogs, I'd love to visit Germany & The Netherlands with Sev and Lily again.
Please note, Gwel and Mor allow two dogs per dog friendly accommodation and the decking and garden area aren't secure.
