It's been a little time since we've managed to get away, with a very busy Wedding season, and life "opening" up again. However, Cornwall was of course calling our name.
Unique hideaways got in touch and it really was the perfect time to visit our favourite place and share more dog friendly travels with you.
The week before Christmas we visited Bower Barn, in St Agnes, Cornwall. A stunning one bedroom, dog friendly cottage. This is such a gorgeous spot for Dog Mums or couples, a unique retreat in a stunning area of Cornwall.
This barn was made for lazy weekends, visiting the beach, cosying up by the fire and exploring more of the Cornish coast.
Although the space is small, the garden is great and secured for the pups, as well having everything needed for a Weekend away or a full week holiday.
The North coast of Cornwall is our very favourite, the beaches are just amazing, and there's so many dog friendly beaches to explore and let the dogs run free. Being December it was also so quiet, such a great reason to get away in the off-peak seasons.
St Agnes is such a great base to visit so many stunning beaches, with a short drive to be able to take a long walk or just pop down to visit some of the stunning coves around the area too.
The barn itself is super cosy and very much a home from home with a lovely romantic feel about it, the wood burner makes everything so lovely and kept the whole barn really warm. The living area was great to really be able to relax in the evening after a long beach walk.
The kitchen was great, with a fridge and a freezer, as well as other appliances to easy cook for yourself whilst you're there. As always, we were able to keep feeding the dogs Butternut Box, which is something really important we look for when taking trips with the dogs.
The bedroom was small but there was still hanging space and drawers for your items, and was the perfect size for a single person (or couple).
There is also a washing machine, great if you're there for a longer time. There was also poo bags and a dog bowl, which are always appreciated showing care for the dogs visiting too.
